Marlboro Project Cats Denied Food and Freedom Again

Management tells the grounds workers not to seal up the cats. Management tells them to leave food and water for the cats. Talks are in Process . Delicate thing Talks.
On thursday 2 more cats were removed. "So we can seal up these windows now?" Hey, I'm just a gofer. Gofer the cats.I say "Speak to (person at Save Kitty") before you do anything. They reassure me that they don't want to kill any cats or kittens.
Two days later I get a call. Another window is cemented shut with huge, gray cinder blocks. There are cats inside - Kittens. I go down and I can hear them. We see the barricaded window. We see the skull of a kitten under the grating. We have to walk through thick mud just to see this.
We call Management. Management tells the grounds workers not to seal up the cats. Management tells them to leave food and water for the cats. Talks are in Process so I'm not bringing the news into it.
I can come down and pick up any cats trapped. go fer the next set until we get them all? By the way the big Orange cat is not a kitten. "We have kittens" another blurred reality.

If You Don't See Them . . .

We all agree that animal abuse is wrong. We did not tolerate Micael Vick's killing of pit bull dogs. There are some cats on Brooklyn who don;t have the media attention of vicks dogs. These are thr Feral Cats at Brooklyn's Marlboro Projects. When doing TNT (trap/neuter/retutn) just before christmas I was horrfied to see basement windows being boarde up with cats and kittens sttill inside! While we and the Manager of the site and the people who knowingly boarded up those cats had christmas dinner, those cats were starving to death.

I contacted the ASPCA and CACC. I contacted a few other rescue groups but no help has been coming - will Public Pressure to the ASPCA, CACC and Mayor"s office help?
